I chose Raven & Oak because it reflects the values at the heart of my work as a celebrant.
The raven has long been associated with wisdom, understanding and remembrance. The oak represents strength, integrity and deep roots. Together, they symbolise what I aim to bring to every ceremony: thoughtfulness, authenticity, respect and meaning.
My approach is simple. Every ceremony should feel genuine and personal, never generic or formulaic. Whether it is a wedding, funeral, memorial or naming ceremony, I work closely with the people involved to create something that truly reflects their values, personalities and wishes.
I have a deep appreciation for tradition, symbolism and ceremony, but I believe these should serve the people at the heart of the occasion, not the other way around. Rather than following a script or recreating customs for their own sake, I draw on traditions where they add meaning, while ensuring every ceremony remains personal, relevant and authentic.
